Position Summary

We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our team on a FinTech integration project for a prominent client based in Jordan.

Our team composition: a Project Manager, a Systems Analyst, a MuleSoft Architect, 8 MuleSoft Developers, 3 QA Engineers, and a DevOps Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  1. Testing Integrations and APIs
    • Plan, design, and execute tests for API and integration flows, ensuring alignment with project requirements and client standards.
    • Develop, maintain, and execute test cases for system, functional, and integration testing to confirm data flow accuracy across services.
    • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues in collaboration with developers and architects.
  2. Building and Refining Test Flow and Processes
    • Design end-to-end test flow strategies that cover functional and regression tests across various systems and applications.
    • Collaborate with technical and non-technical team members to map testing processes, improving quality control and ensuring clear documentation of procedures.
  3. Client Communication and Feedback Integration
    • Engage with client stakeholders to understand testing needs and communicate findings and solutions effectively.
    • Provide timely and clear updates on testing progress and issues, contributing to proactive decision-making and project success.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on backend, integration, and API testing.
  • Hands-on experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman.
  • Basic understanding of event-driven architecture, including experience working with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar message brokers.
  • Familiarity with API flows, including publishing/subscribing to events, asynchronous communication, and validating message contents.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for querying databases and verifying data integrity.
  • Comfortable using bug tracking tools such as Jira.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail, able to identify edge cases and suggest improvements to the QA process.
  • Motivated to learn and grow, proactive in communication and comfortable working in distributed teams.
  • Confident in spoken English at a B2 level or higher.
