About the Role

We’re seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Content Creator to grow RCA’s online presence and engage the global chess community. You’ll be the voice and face of RCA across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X (Twitter), and more — crafting high-impact content and managing our social channels with clarity and precision.

What You’ll Do

• Content Creation – Develop platform-specific posts for Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube. Includes video editing as needed.

• Publishing & Scheduling – Maintain and manage a content calendar for timely posting.

• Community Engagement – Respond to comments and DMs to build a strong connection with followers.

• Trend Awareness – Stay current on social trends and apply them creatively to our content.

• Performance Tracking – Monitor analytics and adapt strategies for better reach and engagement.

• Collaboration – Work with RCA’s team to brainstorm and execute fresh content ideas.

• Platform Optimization – Tailor content to suit algorithms and viewer preferences on each platform.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in content creation or social media management.

• Minimum 1200 online chess rating on platforms like Chess.com or Lichess.

• Strong understanding of platform tools, trends, and best practices.

• A proactive mindset and willingness to grow with a long-term team.

• Familiarity with chess — you don’t need to be a master, but you should understand basic terms and concepts.
