Travel Pharmacy Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Potential for travel may be required
• Accurately and efficiently enter new or refill orders
• Adjudicate insurance claims and resolve rejections
• Properly handle order exceptions such as refill-too-soon, invalid orders, etc.
• Manage incoming phone calls and emails
• De-escalate and troubleshoot issues for customers
• Communicate effectively with leadership and peers
• Achieve or exceed productivity standards in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

Skills & Abilities

• 3+ years pharmacy order entry experience
• 3+ years experience with Framework and Docutrack software
• Must be able to travel up to 10 weeks per calendar year
• Must possess an active TX State Board of Pharmacy Technician License (or willing to obtain)
• Can perform pharmacy calculations.
• Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions.
• Ability to complete projects promptly.
• Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times and traverse close quarters quickly.
• Must be able to stand on feet for the duration of an eight (8) hour shift.
