Our best tutors should enjoy motivating and inspiring students to be the best that they can be The Goal is Mutual Engagement Job Overview: Fourth Grade MATH RESPONSIBILITIES Get to know the student and employ creative ways to teach and engage the him/her. Ability to empathize with student and show ways to overcome the \"fear of math\". Ability to encourage student as they improve their reading, writing and reading comprehension skills. Use Tutor Doctor Platform to plan create lessons plans and post-session reports for our office and families within twenty-four hours of each tutoring session Effectively balance tutoring hours given for each assigned student Successfully and professionally teach students to fit their individual needs Service existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests Follow-up with office when a student?s enrollment package is low on hours Candidates must only service students whose needs meet theirs ABOUT THE STUDENT Nine year old fourth grader. Plays softball, enjoys art and dancing. Struggles in MATH and becomes very nervous when needs to organize thoughts, write and comprehend reading. Friendly and dedicated student who wants to do well. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields preferred Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus Experience with basic Database/ Data Entry Be able to prepare accordingly for each tutoring session (lesson plan) Having a personality that is suited for different types of students Strong administration skills Strong typing, PC and recording skills Reliable transportation with current car insurance is a must Access to the internet, a computer, and a smart phone COMPENSATION Competitive: Competitive hourly rates based on experience and qualifications Expected salary : Location : Lebanon, TN Apply Job!
