Job title: Building Float Instructional Assistant - Elementary Company: AMA ESD Job description : Alpena Public Schools is accepting applications for Building Float Instructional Assistant positions for all Elementary Schools. Starting Rate is $13.04 per hour with High School diploma, $13.12 per hour with associates degree or above. For the 2023-2024 school year, we are offering an extra $1.50 per hour to all Instructional Assistants. QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED is required for all positions. Successful completion of District Provided Professional Development via ParaSharp required unless applicant meet the Highly Qualified standards (Associate's degree; or 60 semester hours of college credit; or passage of the State of Michigan approved assessment for paraprofessionals). Previous experience working with children is preferred. All employees are required to complete a criminal history/fingerprint check.
