This is 100% remote role. Must be able to work a flexible schedule ability to work 8.5 hours starting as early as 8am and ending as late as 9pm. Engagement Description: • This Pharmacy Technician Role is within a remote contact center. • We service Our Client’s Medicare Part D Members and Providers. • Our goal is to handle Member and Provider inquiries concerning benefits and coverage determinations. • Our timeframes are extremely tight (urgent 24 hours, standard 72 hours). • Work on the pharmacy help desk handling prior authorization requests from doctors’ offices • Requests are received via fax, mail, email, phone and electronic PA system • Receive and respond to member questions about their pharmacy benefit • Work from home – private and quiet workspace required • Ability to work 8.5 hours starting as early as 8am and ending as late as 9pm. QUALIFICATIONS: Top 3 Required Skills/Experience: • Retail Pharmacy experience – at least 2 years • Good computer skills (Typing, outlook, excel, etc) • Good fundamental knowledge of drug names and drug classes Required Skills/Experience: • Exceptional Customer Service • Detail Oriented • Ability to multi-task • Willingness to accept change Preferred Skills/Experience: • Call center experience • CMS knowledge Education/Certifications – Include: • CPhT preferred (Certified Pharmacy Tech licensed) OpTech is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse environment.
