United States, Georgia, Atlanta Delta Professional Services... 28-Oct-2024 Ref #: 26527 How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Senior Planner – Client Operations will provide key logistical support for Delta Professional Services (DPS) clients external to Delta Air Lines. The Senior Planner will be responsible for coordinating students with simulator events and qualified instructors. Also ensuring that all training footprints are updated when required and in compliance with FAA regulations and client requirements. Delta Professional Services (DPS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, is the Flight Training & Standards provider of choice for Delta Air Lines, its affiliates and key industry partners worldwide. This position will report to the Program Manager of ATP-CTP at Delta Professional Services (DPS). • Manage and assign student simulator events for client students. • Schedule and notify pilot instructors of assigned events. • Solve scheduling issues and provide last minute changes as needed to instructor schedules. • Proficiently operate Delta Air Lines’ scheduling tool to ensure student training events are documented properly. • Work closely with the Program Managers to establish class schedules based on simulator and instructor availability. • Communicate simulator availability and assignments with external partners. • Interact with Delta Flight Operations Planning Team to coordinate flight simulator availability. • Provide scheduling back-up to other DPS planners as needed. • Identify and create new or improved processes to support changes in the operation.
