This 1099 independent contractor position offers the flexibility to work from home while making a meaningful impact on students' learning and development. Candidates must have an active California teaching certification. Key Responsibilities: • Provide virtual teaching services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across California. • Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support each student’s academic progress. • Use creative and adaptive teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student. • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other education professionals to ensure a comprehensive support plan for students. • Utilize a comprehensive toolkit to enhance lessons and increase student engagement. • Keep accurate records of student progress, assessments, and lesson outcomes. Qualifications: • Active California teaching certification. • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. • Experience working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students is preferred. • Teletherapy experience is a plus, but not required.
