About the job: We are currently seeking an on-demand coach who will work as part of our team, helping to support students with their mental health needs around the clock. This role is part of our on-demand coaching team of providers who work together to ensure 24/7 coverage and support all students with various needs. Our innovative model of care enables us to reach more students where they are at and when they are ready to talk. What You’ll Do: In this role, you’ll be an on-demand coach for TBH. This means you’ll be staffing our 24/7 support line for students. Students come into TBH's on-demand line for various reasons, from anxiety to a recent breakup to suicidal ideation; your job is to support them through their range of emotions. You’ll be able to work directly with students through many modalities of care on a day-to-day basis. There also may be some slower times when you can do extra training from TBH or work on developing new content. The opportunities are limitless. You’ll be overseen by a licensed therapist who will be there to support you in your coaching sessions with students and guide you. Basic Qualifications • Strong organization skills and impeccable attention to detail — a must! • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services or related field. • Crisis counseling/mental health experience Things that will make you stand out: • You have mental health first aid training • You are a mental health clinician or have experience working on a crisis line or similar mental health support • Customer service and/or call center experience What we offer • A supportive work environment and place where you can grow and hone your skills • Direct access to make an impact in the next generation's mental health We’re committed to building and nurturing a team that is as diverse as the students we serve.
