Job title: District Lead Math Enrichment Tutor Company: Cabarrus County Schools Job description : The District Lead Math Enrichment Tutor will oversee the Math Enrichment program, ensuring the program components are implemented at identified schools. Qualification Requirements Bachelors degree 2+ years of experience teaching math Compensation State rate Reports to Curriculum and Instruction Coordinator Essential Functions Work with school-based lead tutors to coordinate schedules of math enrichment tutors Serve as the point of contact for school-based tutors Ensure school-based programs have needed supplies and materials Provide instruction to students in small groups in person and virtually, as needed in the home school Other tasks as assigned Ability to lead school-based tutors through: Participation in Small Group Instruction Training Session(s) Collaboration with the assigned Clinical Educator (CE) to determine the needs of students Delivering small group instruction utilizing approved curriculum materials Maintaining accurate records of student work Communicating with assigned teacher about student progress Participating in virtual math support sessions Physical Requirements Work regularly requires speaking or hearing, frequently requires standing, walking and sitting and requires using hands to finger, handle or feel, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms, lifting and repetitive motions. Work has standard vision requirements. Vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word and conveying detailed or important instructions to others accurately, loudly or quickly. Hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels and to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound. Work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data. Work has little to no exposure to environmental conditions. Work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. classroom, light traffic).
