About the position Join Southwest Airlines as a Spring 2025 Intern in the Sales Operations Analyst role, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on your team through real-time projects and initiatives. This 12-week internship will run from January 28th through April 17th, 2025, and will be conducted fully remotely, allowing you to connect with your team and other workgroups virtually. There may also be opportunities to travel to visit our Corporate Campus in Dallas, Texas. As an intern, you will be expected to dedicate a minimum of 24 hours each week to your responsibilities, with the potential to work up to 40 hours per week. The internship offers an hourly pay of $25, along with a one-time stipend of $1,000, which will be paid in two installments of $500 each. Additionally, you will receive free, unlimited travel privileges for yourself, although taxes and fees may apply on international travel. Required equipment, such as a laptop, will be provided for the internship. The Sales Operations Team is responsible for leading all sales enablement initiatives, focusing on people, processes, and tools. This team plays a critical role in delivering technology capabilities, driving internal partnerships for cross-functional initiatives, and creating and enabling various sales support initiatives. As a Sales Operations Analyst Intern, your duties may include supporting the sales team with analytics, sales tools, CRM, Salesforce, and dashboard reporting. You will also create and distribute communications and promotional solutions for the Southwest Business Team and customers, provide customer support by managing inquiries using CRM tools, partner with internal departments to develop technical solutions, and participate in ad hoc sales projects and promotions. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Professional Sales, Marketing, Business, Hospitality, Computer Science, Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field, and it is designed to foster personal growth and professional development. Responsibilities • Support the sales team with analytics, sales tools, CRM, Salesforce, and dashboard reporting. , • Create and distribute communications and promotional solutions for the Southwest Business Team and customers. , • Provide customer support by responding to and managing customer and sales inquiries utilizing CRM tools. , • Partner with various internal departments to develop technical solutions. , • Participate in ad hoc sales projects, promotions, and planning. Requirements • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education required. , • Must be at least 18 years of age. , • Must have a valid U.S. Social Security Number to complete the full hiring process. , • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. , • Progress towards a degree, major, or minor in Professional Sales, Marketing, Business, Hospitality, Computer Science, Analytics, Information Technology, or Aviation related field. , • Progress towards a 4-year undergraduate degree preferred. , • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and during the internship. , • Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA at the time of application. Nice-to-haves • Work experience in an Aviation environment preferred. , • Previous work or internship experience in an analytics-related role preferred. , • Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, or Salesforce preferred.
