Together, ESM prep and these brands provide a wide range of support to students including academic tutoring, college counseling, executive function coaching, and test preparation. Job Description. Mentors will assist students one-on-one in preparing for college by readying them for the ACT and SAT exams, tutoring multiple academic subjects, and mentoring students through the college search and application process. We call our tutors Academic Mentors because we prioritize the holistic development of each of our students. All applicants should be passionate about working with youth and should have previous experience tutoring, teaching, and/or coaching. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree? Prior experience teaching ACT/SAT. A past score or a score from a diagnostic test taken during the application process may be required Must be able to tutor in person 2 to 3 times a week in or around Atherton, CA Additional expertise in tutoring multiple high school subjects, especially math, computer science, and physics Available part-time. Tutoring usually occurs on weekday evenings (after 3 pm) and/or on weekends. Typical work schedule is Sunday-Thursday.
