Your Responsibilities As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will: • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs through standardized testing and interviews. • Develop Effective Support Plans: Collaborate with educators and families to create individualized strategies that promote student success. • Provide Counseling Services: Deliver one-on-one and group sessions addressing mental health, social skills, and behavioral concerns. • Support IEP Development: Play a vital role in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings by offering expert recommendations for student interventions. • Crisis Management: Offer timely psychological support during emergencies to help students and schools navigate challenging situations. • Promote a Positive School Climate: Partner with school staff to cultivate an inclusive and supportive learning environment. What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you’ll need: • Arkansas School Psychologist License: A current and valid certification to practice in Arkansas. • Experience in School Settings: Familiarity with K-12 student needs, special education processes, and working in educational environments. Teletherapy experience is a plus but not required. • Technical Skills: Confidence in using teletherapy tools and a willingness to adapt to new technology. • Strong Communication Abilities: The ability to build meaningful connections with students, families, and school personnel remotely. • Flexibility and Initiative: A self-driven approach to tackling challenges in a virtual setting.
