Key Responsibilities • Conduct federal background investigations and compile comprehensive reports in line with Federal Investigative Standards and agency guidelines. • Engage in travel to various workplaces, residences, and educational institutions within your designated geographic area, presenting each day as a unique investigative challenge. • Utilize your problem-solving skills to ensure all reports adhere to federal requirements while maintaining utmost integrity and professionalism. Required Skills • Proficient in executing both in-person and remote interviews to gather detailed information regarding individuals' backgrounds. • Strong organizational skills with the capability to adhere to strict deadlines. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for crafting thorough investigative reports and interacting with a diverse range of individuals and agencies. • Must be comfortable with daily local travel for investigative purposes. Qualifications • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or a High School Diploma with 2-3 years of relevant experience. • Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation for local travel. • Be equipped to work from home, including high-speed internet access and a fax line (a government-provided laptop will be supplied).
