Position: Remote Bookkeeper We are on the lookout for a meticulous and well-organized Bookkeeper to join our innovative and fast-paced team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing our financial records, as well as those of our clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all relevant regulations. Key Responsibilities • Accurately record daily financial transactions and execute the posting process. • Ensure that all transactions are properly documented in daybooks, ledgers, and the general ledger. • Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss reports and balance sheets. • Perform bank statement reconciliations to confirm the accuracy of financial data. • Timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. • Maintain organized and precise financial filing systems. • Support during audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations. • Provide assistance during the tax preparation process. Required Skills • Established experience as a Bookkeeper or in a comparable financial role. • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Google Suite. • Skilled in creating QBO rules for efficient management of repetitive entries. • Experience managing financial records for multiple companies, particularly in relation to transactions and cash flow. • Strong grasp of bookkeeping and accounting principles. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent organizational and time management abilities. • Strong communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with team members and clients. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial position. • Comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
