Learn & Grow offers a creative curriculum with a focus on a STEAM based academic approach including ASL, art, dance, English language arts, geography, music, science, Spanish, outdoor exploration, and much more. L&G CAC is currently accepting applications for an Infant/Toddler teacher to join our amazing team Each teacher has a set schedule between the hours of 7am-5pm. This position has a typical schedule of 8a-430p M-F. Duties Develop a careful and creative program suitable for Infants/Toddlers Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.) to teach children Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, colors, crafts etc.) Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times Collaborate with other educators Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards. Requirements This position is immediate hire with the passing of a background check, completing the required online trainings, providing 3 references, and a physical. Applicants must have a copy of their HS diploma at a minimum. Experience teaching in childcare centers and knowledge of DHS rules with at least one year previous teaching experience preferred. All applicants will receive substantial on the job training once hired.
