About the position Continuum Global Solutions is seeking dedicated Customer Service Representatives to join our remote team in Indiana. This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while providing exceptional service to our customers. As a representative, you will be responsible for handling service requests from customers who are starting, stopping, or transferring their utility services. Your role will involve communicating with customers via phone, email, chat, and correspondence, ensuring that their needs are met with professionalism and care. In this role, you will actively listen to customers to understand their concerns and build rapport, providing essential support in navigating their inquiries. You will discover solutions using various tools and resources, empathizing with customers to simplify their experience. The ideal candidate will possess a positive personality, a strong desire to understand customer concerns, and the ability to build trust. You will be expected to navigate multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy, ensuring that each customer interaction is handled efficiently. Responsibilities • Actively listen to customers to understand their concerns, needs, and build rapport. , • Provide essential support in navigating the customer's inquiries and explaining it in simple terms. , • Discover solutions using tools and resources to help meet the customer's needs. , • Empathize and resolve concerns to simplify the customer's experience. , • Navigate through multiple computer applications with speed & accuracy. Requirements • 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or its equivalent. , • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center (utilities industry experience is a plus). , • Self-driven and able to focus on the same task/objective for long periods of time. , • Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills. , • High computer proficiency and overall technical knowledge. , • Open availability between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday Eastern Standard Time. , • Professional positive attitude and courteous telephone etiquette. , • Customer-focused personality and motivation to achieve goals. , • Must pass background check including credit review and assessments in training. Nice-to-haves • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred for higher pay rate).
