PROLIM (www.prolim.com) is currently seeking Computer Support 2- 3rd Shift - Hybrid for one of our top client for Newport News, VA Description/Comment: Performs a variety of duties in support of a computer, network (LAN/WAN), and/or client server unit. Reviews input data to verify adequacy and appropriateness of material required for data processing and related operations. Reviews output data to verify completeness, accuracy, and conformance to quality standards and specifications. Maintains internal records and may catalog, disperse, and return tapes/disks. May review daily processing logs and may set or revise schedules. AA or other 2 years technical degree in related discipline and 1 year of related experience, Associate?s Degree and 1 year of experience. 2 years of related experience can be substituted for Associate?s degree, 4 years of non-related experience can be substituted for Associate?s degree. Special Requirements Initial 2-4 weeks training on 1st or 2nd shift on site. Hybrid thereafter ? Ability to understand and work in an autonomous environment and escalate incidents quickly with clear and concise triage steps taken ? Common understanding of cybersecurity concepts ? Proficient in IT architecture and layered defense architectures ? Proficient in Microsoft OS administration ? Experience with SPLUNK or similar SIEM tools ? Familiar with Network defense systems(Cisco, Palo Alto FW) ? COMP TIA/ SEC Certification, Ethical Hacker Certification ? Wireshark, PCAP analysis What are the top 3 items the Hiring Manager is looking for? ? SOC Analyst ? Network admin ?
