KORE, Inc., a financial service provider to small businesses and entrepreneurs, is hiring a full-time, experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. This position offers the choice to work in-office in Battle Ground, Washington, or remotely from anywhere in the United States. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to both colleagues and clients. WHAT WE OFFER. • $28.00 – $35.00+ per hour starting pay based on experience. • Medical, dental and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage. • Paid vacation and paid holidays. • Retirement plan with employer-matching contribution. • Full time schedule: Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-noon with schedule flexibility and no weekends. • All expense training/orientation provided upon hire; training held in Battle Ground, WA headquarters. WHAT YOU WILL DO. • Manage the financial data of 10-20 small businesses. • Manage day-to-day accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll across multiple states. • Prepare monthly/quarterly excise tax returns. • Generate monthly and quarterly financial statements and perform cost analysis. • Oversee intercompany transactions and track subcontractors. • Conduct budgeting and cash flow forecasting. • Perform job costing analysis and reporting. • Communicate regularly with clients via phone or Zoom. • Oversee and audit business insurance policies. • Complete annual business license renewals. • Collaborate closely with a tax consultant to ensure accurate tax planning and preparation. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR. • A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience is required. • Proven experience in processing payroll from start to finish is essential. • Proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software is a must. • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is not required, but a plus. • Strong understanding of accounting best practices (debits/credits, AR, AP, account reconciliation, cash flow) is required. • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to research, communicate, and collaborate effectively. • Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of client information. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. • Professionalism, strong organizational skills, and a dependable work ethic are crucial. • A team player who can collaborate with both the KORE team and clients to ensure clear communication of business goals. • Final candidates may be required to pass a thorough background check and drug test.
