Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Virtual K-12 Intervention Specialist to join our innovative educational team. In this remote position, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the learning experiences of students with diverse needs, contributing positively to their educational journey from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans tailored to the unique needs of each student, utilizing data-driven approaches. • Conduct engaging and impactful lessons in a virtual classroom setting, adapting instructional methods to accommodate various learning styles. • Implement evidence-based behavioral support strategies to foster a constructive and inclusive online learning environment. • Continuously monitor and assess student progress, making instructional adjustments as necessary to meet educational goals. Required Skills • Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or a related discipline; a Master's degree is highly regarded. • A valid Ohio Intervention Specialist Certification, adhering to the licensure standards of the Ohio Department of Education. • Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs, with prior experience in virtual instruction. • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and educational professionals. • Competence in using digital learning tools and assistive technologies to optimize the teaching experience. Qualifications • A Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a relevant field is required; a Master's degree is an asset. • Valid Ohio teaching license with an Intervention Specialist endorsement.
