Key Responsibilities • Transcribe audio recordings from depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings into accurate verbatim transcripts. • Maintain strict adherence to established style guides and client-specific deadlines. • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, ensuring clarity and precision in all transcripts. • Collaborate with our dedicated in-office team as necessary for guidance and support. Required Skills • Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription. • Exceptional listening skills and a keen ability to discern spoken content. • Strong command of grammar, spelling, and overall literacy. • High typing proficiency in both speed and accuracy. • Familiarity with legal terminology and concepts. • Ability to process sensitive or potentially offensive audio/text content. • Capability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
