Job Description We are seeking a Web/Native Developer with 2-3 years of freelance and internship experience and a strong GitHub portfolio that reflects real-world projects. This part-time position is perfect for a self-starter with extensive experience in React, TypeScript, and Node.js, and who is excited to break into the startup space. You’ll have the freedom to work your own hours with the opportunity to grow with our company. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain web and native applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js. • Build and optimize projects using Next.js, Expo, React Native, and Zustand. • Collaborate with the team using Git for version control and manage cloud-based applications with AWS. • Integrate and maintain SQL databases and back-end services. • Implement responsive designs using Tailwind CSS and add interactive features with animation libraries like Framer Motion. • Ensure SEO and accessibility best practices are followed across all projects. • Utilize agile development methodologies to track progress and collaborate effectively with team members. • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and tools in web and native development. • Engage in prompt engineering to improve development workflows and optimize performance. • Provide creative solutions and take initiative in developing new features and improving existing systems. Minimum Qualifications: • 2-3 years of freelance and/or internship experience in web and native development. • Proven GitHub portfolio that showcases relevant projects. • Extensive experience with: • React and React Native • TypeScript • Node.js • Next.js • Expo • Zustand • SQL • AWS • Git • Tailwind CSS • Python • Framer Motion, GreenSock other animation libraries • Knowledge of SEO and accessibility best practices. Digital marketing knowledge is a huge plus! • Proficient in agile methodologies and skilled in prompt engineering. • Self-starter with the ability to work independently without set hours. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience working in a startup environment. • Familiarity with serverless architectures and CI/CD pipelines. • Experience working with containerization (e.g., Docker). • Knowledge of integrating 3rd-party APIs and managing cloud infrastructure.
