workwarp is looking for a passionate Create A Seamless Tree Service & Booking Website With E-commerce Features - Contract To Hire! We are hiring for our Remote location, and the role is available for immediate commencement. This position requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success. Again, I love my site, but I need it to be perfect and I need to be simple and be seen because I have a lot of elderly clients looking for a talented web developer to update and optimize my current website, floridaplantsolutions.com. The goal is to make it simple, user-friendly, and fully functional with Shopify-like features for tree and palm delivery services. Below are the key elements I... need: Key Features Required: 1. Simple and Bold Homepage Design: • In big, bold letters, display “We Deliver and Plant Trees and Palms” front and center on the homepage. • Incorporate a carousel or wheel on the homepage where customers can easily view, scroll, and select trees or palms without clicking through multiple tabs. 2. Appointment Booking & Scheduling: • A calendar feature that shows availability for booking tree planting and related services. • Scheduling setup where appointments are 3 hours apart with a maximum of 3 appointments per day (Monday to Thursday). • Automated calendar updates so I don’t have to manually handle the schedule. 3. Additional Services Integration: • Add other service offerings like Stump Grinding or Mowing that customers can select when booking. • Simple navigation and easy-to-book services from the homepage without unnecessary clicks. 4. E-commerce Functionality: • Customers should be able to buy trees, palms, and services directly from the website. • Shopify-like features such as: • Automated cart reminders (“You forgot something in your cart!”). • Email capture for sending offers and newsletters. • Show recent purchases by customers to add social proof. 5. SEO Optimization: • Ensure the entire website is SEO-friendly to attract more traffic and rank well for local searches (e.g., “tree delivery Tampa,” “palm planting services”). 6. Automated Features: • I want the website to run smoothly and be easy to maintain. I should only need to update photos and prices, while everything else (calendar, inventory, email automation, etc.) should run automatically. • Automated customer emails that encourage them to return to the site (e.g., “Hey, we miss you!” offers, reminders for trees in their cart). 7. Mobile-Responsive & Fast-Loading: • The website must be mobile-friendly and fast-loading, as most customers will likely browse from their phones. Additional Input: • I’d like feedback or ideas on how to further enhance the user experience and bring more traffic to the website (SEO tips, ad integration, or other methods).
