Hourly rate: $10.34-$39.80 Work Week: Less than 15 hours a week Benefits: There are no benefits associated with these positions Site Program Times: *School day staff will work with the Principal regarding their contracted hours Anne Wien Elementary - 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM Denali Elementary - 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM Hunter Elementary - 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM Lathrop High School - 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Ryan Middle School - 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM Ticasuk Brown Elementary - 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM Weller Elementary - 3:45 PM - 5:45 PM Positions: Academic & Enrichment Instructor (Certified, Classified or Temp) Including, but not limited to, prepping content, tutoring, assistance in school day work, homework, and educational activities and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) projects. Support Staff Including, but not limited to, assisting with daily program set-up, distribution of snacks, prepping materials for classes, leading a classroom of students, supporting students in the classroom and participating in special ASP events. General Responsibilities: Using TCP to clock in and out as well as approve time worked Prepping space and materials for tutoring sessions Assisting with daily attendance Providing academic assistance to students through tutoring Helping students enter the program and help students pack up for dismissal All other duties as assigned Expected to adhere to all program site rules regarding safety, cell phone use, and student interaction Must complete any necessary training and paperwork as needed for employment Depending on experience and availability, employees may also be responsible for: Assisting with daily program set-up Distribution of snacks, and/or assisting students with opening their snacks Prepping materials for students Participation in special events Substituting for other staff within the after-school program Job Qualifications The following are required: * Understanding of the after-school program(s) and its role within the District. Possess basic reading and math skills. Possess basic understanding of learning disabilities. Clear and easily understood verbal communication skills in English.
