We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Expert (email based) to join our team and help manage customer inquiries and requests for our e-commerce business, primarily on Etsy and our website. We’re looking for someone who is independent, proactive, and a critical thinker, capable of solving customer problems with minimal guidance while adhering to our business guidelines. All communication will be handled via email, so strong written communication skills are essential. Responsibilities: - Handle customer inquiries about products, orders, cancellations, refunds, and more. - Action requests in our systems, including order cancellations, refunds, and changes to customer accounts. - Ensure timely and professional communication that aligns with our brand voice and customer service guidelines. - Develop a thorough understanding of our products and business to provide accurate information and solutions. - Identify patterns in customer issues and proactively suggest improvements to our processes. - Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery. Requirements: - Proven experience in email-based customer service, preferably in e-commerce or with platforms like Etsy. - Strong written communication skills in English, with a customer-focused approach. - Ability to work independently, solve problems proactively, and follow guidelines effectively. - Familiarity with order management systems and handling requests such as refunds and cancellations. - A detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify patterns in customer issues.
