Interior Designer

We're searching for a qualified Interior Designer! This Remote position offers an immediate start for the right candidate. RITUALS is a multi-state creative design studio specializing in interiors and décor with over 10 years of various residential, hospitality, and commercial projects. https://www.wearerituals.com/ We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer... • This position is a 1099 independent contractor with an active business license. • Must have excellent creative thinking skills. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite + CAD. • Able to create designs based on conversations with a client and within budget. • Must be confident with communicating regularly with clients and team members in order to assess project needs. • Hours of operations are typically M-F and must be available during US Central Time Zone hours. • Rituals cannot guarantee contractors a minimum amount of hours worked. • Location: Remote RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: • Communicate with team members, clients, vendors, contractors, etc. throughout the project's lifespan. • Ensure all tasks meet compliance guidelines (building, fire, health, safety, ADA, etc.) • Assess needs of each project with a very high attention to detail and accuracy. • Assist in schematic design + presentation preparation. • Gather accurate estimates + bids. • Maintain industry knowledge to stay relevant. • Collaborate and create conceptual designs, floor plans, mood boards, elevations, presentations, finish packets, etc. Your delivered product/tasks will have minimal errors, Rituals is your client and will be treated as an end client. QUALIFICATIONS + EXPECTATIONS: • Minimum of 5 years of experience with a design firm is required. • Very high attention to detail with a sense of urgency and accuracy. • Independent, self-starter with the ability to adapt through frequent pivots. • Must have remote capabilities (computer with access to internet). • Flexibility with work availability. • Experience with Google Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Calendar, etc. • Must be able to work independently with little direction. • Ability to receive constructive feedback and make necessary adjustments. • Proactively seeks regular feedback and is unafraid to ask questions and seek clarity on all aspects of design and business. REQUIRED: • Must be able to present a current/valid business license. • Excellent English communication (written & oral). • Proficiency with CAD and must have an active license/subscription. • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) and must have an active license/subscription. • All computers and/or electronic devises used must have an Anti-Virus & Malware software protection.
