Job Description: Department: Athletics Job Title: Study Hall Monitor Number of Vacancies: 7 SSTA Supervisor: Kelly Downs Position Type: Non-Supervisory Number of Hours Per Week: 4-6 General Statement of Duties/Responsibilities: Monitor behavior and enforce the rules in student-athlete study halls (low music only with headphones, no tutoring, no talking, etc.). Assist the student-athlete by mentoring and answering questions about where campus resources can be found to receive tutoring, advising, etc. Monitors will need to sign students in and out with Accutrack computer program (no prior knowledge of this program is necessary). Requirements: Preferred Qualifications: Minimal sports knowledge, strong communication skills, desire to work in a team environment, minimum 3.0 GPA, and ability to supervise behavior of student-athletes.
