Job title: Seasonal Only Guest Room Attendant (April- September 2023) Company: Bird Dog Hospitality Job description: Housekeeper 4 positions with Niobrara Lodge, LLC (dba Niobrara Lodge) – Valentine, NE and surrounding areas in the same MSA. Temp. Full Time (04/01/2023 to 09/30/2023). Perform a variety of cleaning activities, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing; empty trash containers and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner; make beds and change linens, as required; ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards; protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies; notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances; manage guest requests with professionalism and patience; check stocking levels of all consumables and replace, when appropriate; and adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices. $12.61/hour paid bi-weekly. Bonus programs available for accuracy and speed. 40 hrs/wk, 9a-3p. Sunday - Saturday. OT as needed ($18.92/hour). Optional housing provided by employer for employees outside of commuting distance at the rate of $100 per pay period, which is deducted from the worker s paycheck. Niobrara Lodge will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Niobrara Lodge will make all deductions from the worker s paycheck required by law. Transportation (including meals, and to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be reimbursed by company check if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be paid by Niobrara Lodge if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by Niobrara Lodge. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $14.00 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Niobrara Lodge will reimburse workers for visa, visa processing, border crossing, and related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees and charges primarily for the worker s benefit), within the first workweek. Niobrara Lodge will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Three months of experience in housekeeping; ability to speak basic English; and physical stamina and mobility to reach, kneel, stoop, and bend.
