Satellite Veterinary Clinic Coordinator - Oahu SPCA - Wahiawa, HI - work from home job Company: Oahu SPCA Job description: Summary The Oahu SPCA Satellite Clinic Manager, under the supervision of the Medical Director and Shelter Director, is responsible for providing overall leadership and management of multiple outreach clinics and assuring excellent patient care. The Satellite Clinic Manager is responsible and accountable for the day to day operations of the clinic, personnel management (clinical and clerical), financial management, quality improvement activities, training and input on strategic planning. Ensures appropriate staffing and or assists and backs up all staff as needed. This individual is responsible for providing high level decision making in order to manage daily functions of multiple clinic locations in a broad area across the state of Hawaii. Works toward continuous improvement in a team environment is a crucial element of this position. Works with entire Oahu SPCA team as well as Veterinarians within each area to ensure good communication and coordination of outreach clinics operations and strategy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Maintaining weekly communications with various Petco locations. -Report weekly to upper management on clinic performance. -Become proficient in our practice management software -Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services. -Work closely in a team environment and be able to supervise and coach team members -Pay close attention and improve on clinic ROI and increase sales of spay/ neuter package -Perform various reception duties including but not limited to: -Appointment consultation -Confirmation calls and check-in services -Maintaining Patient files -Record and Export Patient Files and Data Entry -Follow-Up Reminders -Gather Various Data Points and Interpret Them for Improved Performance -Service referrals to main OSPCA Clinic Applicants MUST be available to travel to the various clinic locations, have weekend availability, as well as work remotely. Salary commensurate with experience. Oahu SPCA provides low-cost vaccine services to all 7 Petco locations on Oahu as well as all the outer islands. As the initial point of contact for Veterinary services for many pets, it is crucial to educate each client on the services we provide at Petco and be able to cross-sell and refer clients to our Home Clinic in Wahiawa where we run a low cost spay and neuter clinic. We are looking for a team-oriented person to take charge of all clerical and check-in services for our Petco low-cost vaccine clinics. This will primarily be in person check-ins, end of day accounting, and remote scheduling. Previous experience preferred but not required. Be ready to learn and be challenged every day!
