Med-Scribe is currently recruiting for an exceptional Licensed Practical Nurse to work on a remote program with a company based in the Rochester, NY area. This is a great opportunity to gain medical record review experience while adding to your professional portfolio! This is a temp to hire position. In this role, you will be responsible for independently reviewing the medical records for Medicare Appeals. Many of our nurses find case review to be an intellectually rewarding position and welcome an added dimension to their clinical skills. This is a deadline driven environment. You will be logged onto the computer, working for a full 8 hour day. Strong analytical, writing and computer skills are required. Days and hours: Monday through Friday: 40 hours a week, day hours, some flexibility! Salary: $20/hour, benefits available! Minimum Qualifications:
- You must have a valid NYS Nursing license
- A minimum typing speed of 35wpm is required.
- Ability to quickly learn multiple database systems and comfortably manage multiple screens at the same time and proficiency with MS Word.
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
- Ability to independently manage workflow. 2 years of related experience required.
