Customer Service Representative-Data Entry

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst-Customer Service for a 12-month contract in a Remote mode. Title: Business Analyst-Customer Service Location: Remote- Houston, TX 77010 Contract: 12 months contract Pay Rate: $23-$24/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Job Description

• Location: Primarily Remote (Onsite attendance required for occasional meetings)
• Experience Required: 1–3 years
• Glider Assessment Required

Role Overview This is a data entry role focused on processing and managing utility-related customer queries. The candidate will perform data input, account reconciliation, and respond to inquiries while meeting performance metrics. The environment is structured, collaborative, and metric-driven.

Key Responsibilities

• Input and manage customer account data related to utility services
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies through account reconciliation
• Support external and internal customer service requests
• Meet performance benchmarks and KPI metrics (accuracy, turnaround time, etc.)
• Work collaboratively with team members and participate in occasional onsite meetings
• Support utility-related documentation and reports

Must-Have Qualifications

• 1–3 years of customer care (CC) and data entry experience
• Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in a performance-tracked environment (KPI-driven)

• Collaborative and able to communicate across teams
• Proactive and organized with a commitment to continuous improvement
