You'll receive hourly, over-time eligible pay, and a unique opportunity to enhance or refine your skills within one of our high performing tax teams.Your key responsibilitiesAs a seasonal tax manager your main priority will be corporate compliance and tax provision review, assisting companies with all aspects of their preparation of the tax provision. Expectations around hours are discussed during the interview process for each role, so you'll be able to share your availability and know what to expect prior to coming aboard. In this role you'll be able to work remotely from within the United States, with no travel required.Skills and attributes for successA strategic eye toward prioritizing when working on multiple complex projectsInfluencing skills, and the confidence and curiosity to question existing processesThe ability to produce technical writing and research in a tax contextKnowledgeable with accounting for federal income tax, tax accounting for financial statementsExperience in corporate tax planning and compliance and federal income taxationUnderstanding of ASC 740 and/or IAS 12 under IFRS experienceComfort with working remotely in a virtual team environmentTo qualify for this role you must haveValid US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active state bar membershipA bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related disciplineA minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in tax provision, tax accounting, and corporate tax complianceRelevant tax experience in business or industry with a broad exposure to federal income taxationStrong analytical skills, written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal; problem-solving ability and attention to detailIdeally, you'll also haveA proven record of excellence in public accounting in a top or mid-tier firmWhat we look forWe're interested in strong team players who support their colleagues in reaching their goals while also considering their own workload and deliverables. - The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $90/hr to $120/hr. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
