This Sr. Business Partner on our Labor Relations team will be focused on advising, collaborating, and supporting retail leaders to ensure they can successfully lead in labor. They will be assigned to support a regional team in the U.S. As a change leader, you will support adjusting processes and procedures, CBA implementation, cross-functional collaborations, and consultations for different business units. As a Sr. Labor Relations Business Partner, you will:
- Provide Labor Relations expertise on operational projects and programs and consult on internal and external processes regarding Labor Relations.
- Identify risks through market assessments and provide recommendations to influence decisions, help remove barriers, and enable the team to deliver on our partner promise.
- Consult and implement Labor Relations strategy and insights.
- Be an approachable resource for all levels that supports an authentic, safe, and collaborative environment.
- Advise leaders and support partners leveraging labor relations expertise, tools, and resources.
- Collaborate with retail leaders and support teams to build their capabilities to implement labor relations strategy and priorities using trainings and resources.
- 3-5 years of experience in Labor Relations, Human Resources, or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of all aspects of labor and employment laws including, but not limited to NLRA, Title VII, EEO, ADA, and FMLA; and associated employment laws.
- Ability to effectively navigate ambiguity and issues that do not always have a process or system in place.
- Professionalism, diplomacy, and tact, adjusting communication style to meet the needs of the audience.
- Successful record of creating, improving, and executing programs at scale.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and come to direct solutions through independent decision-making.
- Experience in public speaking across a large population.
- Proficiency with databases and search engines, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivated.
- The successful candidate must be capable of significant domestic travel, sometimes with short notice, 50% to 75% of the time.
