Part-Time Accounting Assistant (Work from Office)

Remote role Full-time Open position

Responsibilities:

  • Perform bookkeeping of financial transactions on a monthly basis or act as an external verifier for on-site bookkeeping tasks.
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports (if applicable as an accountant).
  • Assist with invoicing, billing, and payroll processing.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies while safeguarding data privacy.
  • Support other accounting-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., AutoCount Cloud) and Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in English and Malay; Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Able to independently verify and process accurate financial information.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Holds a relevant accounting certification (e.g., Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / ACCA).
  • Prior experience in a similar role will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: RM8.00 - RM12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
