Growing together.This role will be serve as a leader for intaking, prioritizing, and tracking requirements and corresponding delivery of various data and business intelligence initiatives throughout E&I Actuarial. This will will require solid partnerships with cross-functional areas to accurately refine requirements and build a roadmap for future development.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
- Intaking and managing development work related to Stratus and USP Data, Reporting and Analytics
- Ensuring the accuracy and availability of data for pricing, rate filing, trend analysis, affordability initiatives, and other key analytics
- Assisting in the onboarding and training of new analysts, ensuring they are well-equipped to contribute effectively
- Contributing to the strategic vision for Data and Analytics within the E&I Actuarial department, driving innovation and continuous improvement
- Perform both as an individual contributor and collaboratively with broader analytic and reporting team with proven ability as a self-starter, quick learner, and adaptable team member
- 5+ years of experience in an Actuarial, Healthcare Economics, or similar role
- Proven problem-solving skills (identification of issue, causes, solution, implementation plan)
- Demonstration of strategic vision and growth mindset
- Experience extracting data from enterprise data sources
- Basic proficiency in SQL, SAS, R, and/or Python; ability to work in multiple programming languages
