Job title: Storage Engineer -Hybrid, West Orange/Oceanport, NJ in West Orange, NJ at RWJBarnabas Health Company: RWJBarnabas Health Job description: Essential Functions:Monitor problem ticket queues and resolve tickets in a timely manner according to the defined SLAsParticipate in monthly security patching for computing environmentTroubleshoot infrastructure and related technologies by reviewing logs and error messagesTroubleshoot with peers and customers on application related issuesFunctions as an escalation point for application admins and second level support in troubleshooting complex system issuesUpdate code levels of the storage infrastructure to ensure we are compliant and secureAssist Vendors, Customers and Peers with remote access needsFollow and execute defined runbooks and documentation for:o Disaster recovery eventso System Decommissionso Infrastructure installso Infrastructure patchingMonitor infrastructure via monitoring toolsetsReview Infrastructure and Application Architecture documentation and workflows to gain a broad understandingFollow defined Change Management policies and proceduresAttend daily, weekly and monthly team meetingsAttend project or troubleshooting calls to address issues or tasksUnderstanding of Enterprise Networks,Qualifications:Bachelor s degree preferred,Certification or equivalent may be substituted for a BA degreeA minimum of 5 years experience in Information Technology and Services in the related areaExperience in Healthcare field helpful, but not required,Preferred experience:HPE, Nimble, Pure, Netapp and Brocade technologiesLinux/Unix Operating Systems, VMware vSphere, general networking concepts, scriptingScheduling Requirements:

• Full-time, Day M-F 9a-5p, hybrid 3days in office, either West Orange or Oceanport, NJ facility
• On-call, 24x7 once every 4 weeks
• Travel to any infrastructure facilities as needed
