This role involves overseeing the development and launch of new patient support access and affordability programs for Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicines. The Manager will own the launch process in designated therapeutic areas, defining project requirements, leading program design, creating process workflows, conducting feasibility assessments, and developing project plans. With a strategic mindset, the Manager will independently solve problems and advocate for solutions while securing stakeholder buy-in. The Manager will be responsible for providing handoffs of project design and implementation plans for operational teams prior to launches, to ensure success in program execution. Post-launch, the Manager will provide historical context to operational leadership and assist with change requests and program enhancements.Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for program build within assigned therapeutic area.
  • Propose solutions to access and affordability challenges that address patient and provider needs.
  • Own solution design and workflow creation for access and affordability strategies.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop process flows and program solutions that enhance patient and provider experiences.
  • Ensure timely, budget-friendly product development and implementation that meets PECS expectations.
  • Define project scope and translate it into actionable tasks and schedules.
  • Manage implementation processes, including progress tracking, problem resolution, system implementation, testing, documentation, and training.
  • Provide strategic leadership to guide cross-functional teams toward project goals while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance systems and improve processes.
  • Oversee the end-to-end project journey for assigned therapeutic area and track critical milestones and actions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to effectively plan project meetings and drive accountability for deliverables.
  • Provide operational team handoffs for upcoming projects, including leading workflow overview and launch readiness sessions.
  • Update stakeholders on progress and manage expectations regarding project aspects.
  • Conceptualize, prototype, test, and implement new services to optimize the patient and provider experiences.
  • Identify issues, explore solutions and implement effective resolutions.
  • Up to 25% travel required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on staffing and implementation needs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in HUB services implementation management, program management or operations management
  • Deep knowledge of patient support programs and patient access and affordability solutions (such as reimbursement services, free drug program and pharmacy services)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and successfully launch new products, offerings or indications
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively with direct and indirect project teams
  • Ability to conceptualize, develop, implement and evaluate projects and processes
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Degree
  • Program or clinical experience in the therapeutic areas of immunology and/or oncology
  • Experience in medical benefits and infusion services
  • Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Visio
