Engineers working in the System Safety Engineering group contribute to a wide variety of projects based on our business needs. It involves working as an independent contributor with team leadership to perform Systems Safety Engineering tasks in support of project objectives.THE WORK
On a day to day basis responsibilities include:
- Requirements analysis, interface analysis, and operations analysis.
- System safety test and verification.
- Working directly with customers and project leadership to report out on safety analyses.
- Preparing reports, reviewing subcontractor safety documentation and analysis, and leading various safety program tasks. The System Safety Engineering group offers a continuous learning environment with strong career growth and advancement opportunities.
- Are capable of working in a team-oriented, fast paced environment, supporting multiple projects and proposals.
- Have demonstrated potential to work with systems engineering processes including top-down design starting from high level system requirements through the allocation of system components, equipment, computer programs, and across organizations.
