In the Cash Application/Customer Billing role, you will work with the local Bristol, TN finance team of 7 as well as branch customer service and salespeople. The role is primarily data- focused, applying cash received to customer accounts and in situations where our customers require that we input our invoices into their own portal (vs sending them a bill like we usually do), entering and tracking the status of inputs. The person will also provide support for the finance team in various tasks and, with experience and good performance, can add light accounting/credit responsibilities to the roleEssential Functions

• Process daily cash application for customer payments

• Submit online invoicing through customer web-based portals

• Collaborate and support branch personnel with customer credit card transactions

• Assist credit in sending out customer account statements

• Provide support and backup to the accounting/finance team as directed by the Controller or Credit Manager

Experience, Education and Skills

• 2+ years of experience in an important data input role (school, medical, retail, business).

• Associate's degree preferred but not required.

• Strong data entry skills with good speed and a high level of accuracy

• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills

• The ability to work collaboratively as a team with local and branch personnel.

• Good attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
