The focus is to provide an exact written record of the meetings as they happen. The transcribed content is confidential and must be handled with strict discretion.You will also support a variety of language-related tasks, including non-live audio transcription, data creation (such as generating natural sentences), annotation (such as speaker labeling and utterance categorization), and language data validation (including proofreading and quality assurance).Role ResponsibilitiesTranscribe all spoken information during calls without relying on recordings or Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) support. The focus is to provide an exact written record of the meetings as they happen.Ensure all spoken information and gestures are correctly captured during the virtual meeting.Final transcription for the virtual meetings must be delivered within 24 hours after participating in the meeting.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.Candidates selected for an interview will be required to participate in a live, 10-minute transcription test as part of the qualification process.Minimum 2 years of experience transcribing live, real-time events in EnglishIdiomatic fluency in EnglishExcellent knowledge of English grammar and orthographyComprehensive understanding of the conventions followed during transcriptionCompleted courses in typing / stenographyShorthand typing speedProficiency using Google Workspace/Suite productsStable internet connection and comfortable working with Google Chromebook (Note: equipment will be provided)Excellent active listening skills and strong attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage time efficientlyNCRA certification is a plusExperience with steno machines is a plusDataForce offers companies in technology, advertisement, entertainment, and other industries reliable BPO and Data Collection & Annotation services.
