Job description: The Project Management Support Analyst is crucial in supporting the successful execution of ERP projects by providing robust project administration, analytical, and operational support to the project management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Support:
- Assist project managers in planning, executing, and closing ERP projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Prepare and distribute regular project status reports, summarizing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and project team members.
- Project Organization:
- Collect, analyze, and report on project data, identifying trends and providing insights to support decision-making.
- Monitor project risks and issues, assisting in the development of mitigation strategies and tracking their resolution.
- Act as a liaison between project stakeholders, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and change requests.
- Meeting Coordination: Organize and coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and follow-up on action items.
- Training and Support: Provide support in training end-users and project team members on ERP system functionalities and project management tools.
- Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in project management support or a related role, preferably within an ERP implementation environment
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana, SmartSheet, Monday)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with ERP systems is a plus
