- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address various emotional and behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to create a comprehensive support system for students.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary.
- Educate and support families and staff in understanding students' psychological needs and strategies for improvement.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Certification as a School Psychologist through the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
- Illinois state licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
