About the position As a Claims Service Specialist at GEICO's Tucson, AZ office, you will play a crucial role in assisting our policyholders during some of their most challenging moments, particularly after an accident. This position is designed for individuals who are motivated, solution-oriented, and empathetic to customer needs. You will undergo a comprehensive training program that lasts between six to nine months, during which you will learn the intricacies of the claims process. This training is conducted entirely in-office, ensuring that you receive hands-on experience and support from your peers and supervisors. Once training is complete, you will transition to a hybrid work model, spending four days a week in the office and one day working from home. Your primary responsibilities will include collecting facts about accidents, investigating claim details, and gathering statements from all parties involved. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively will be essential in helping our policyholders navigate the claims process and get back on the road as quickly as possible.
