WABC Motion Designer - Daily Hire

WABC is seeking a Motion Designer who will be supporting our Live with Kelly and Mark, Eyewitness News and news specials. We are looking for someone who understands and can work within our brand. The main part of this job is logo design and animation. We seek a designer to create animations in 2D and 3D who has strong communication skills to work in a team environment. Please include a portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, including digital, print, broadcast, and media, with your resume. Daily Hire is an employee hired to work on a daily basis with no requirement of a regular schedule. What You Will Do:
- Create design solutions that visually convey a particular message, idea, or concept
- Design for broadcast, digital, and print
- Maintain brand authenticity throughout all creative work
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of graphic design experience
- Expert technical skills in the Adobe Creative Suite: After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Knowledge of Cinema 4D is a must
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced live show/news environment with tight deadlines
- Must be willing to work any shift, including holidays.
- Knowledge of current events - news, entertainment, and sports
Required Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Education:
- BA/BFA degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or relevant work experience
The pay rate for this role in New York is $65 to $80 per hour.
