Accountant / Bookkeeper for a Financial Consulting Company in the US (Home Based Part Time)

Remote role Full-time Open position

Job Description

  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
  • Perform checks of the posting process
  • Complete payroll, sales tax and tax forms
  • Enter data, maintain records and financial statements
  • Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner

Skill Set

  • Must be a Filipino citizen residing in the Philippines.
  • At least 5 years of experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven sales tax and payroll bookkeeping experience
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and oral
  • Excellent proficiency with technology and computers
  • Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
  • Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service orientation and negotiation skills
  • High attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • A BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (preferred)
