Virtual Special Education Teacher Supporting Students in Kalamazoo, MI Location: Kalamazoo, MI (Remote) Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (K-12) About VocoVision: VocoVision is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) to provide remote services to K-12 students in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In this role, you will develop and deliver individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they thrive in a virtual learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized instruction and support to students with a variety of disabilities and learning challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet each students academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other school teams to track student progress and modify strategies as needed.
• Participate in IEP meetings to ensure that students receive the necessary accommodations and support.
• Support general education teachers in integrating students with special needs into classroom activities.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Michigans special education regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan certification in Special Education.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in a special education setting (teletherapy experience preferred).
• Strong proficiency with virtual teaching platforms and tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working remotely with students and their teams.
