Simulation and Control Systems Engineer

Description Apple's Platform Architecture group is seeking a highly motivated Simulation and Control Systems Design Engineer to contribute to the development of new thermal control algorithms. You will be responsible for developing System Identification and learning techniques to model and simulate different power/performance/thermal characteristics in our products.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar engineering degree.
- Experience implementing Control Systems in Embedded Microcontroller environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar engineering degree.
- Deep knowledge of System Identification algorithms, Estimation Theory, Classical and Modern Control Systems Theory, and Statistical Learning Algorithms.
- Proficiency in Python, Matlab and C++.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written/presentational skills.
Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
