The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including medical-surgical units, outpatient facilities, and trauma centers. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to administer medications effectively while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care, including monitoring vital signs and reporting changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
• Support patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care in hospital medicine and trauma settings.
• Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare staff and document patient information accurately.
• Provide support in specialized areas such as Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or trauma care as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, particularly in roles related to patient care or hospital medicine.
• Familiarity with medication administration protocols and practices is essential.
• Experience working within Level I or Level II Trauma Centers is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and outpatient care practices will be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are required.
