Teaching Hours: Guaranteed approximately 30 hours per week! Students: Adult professionals over the age of 18. Students are based throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South America. Remuneration: Set base rate of 10 USD per hour. Contract type: You will be contacted by The Really Great Teacher Company as an Independent Service Provider. Location: Work from the convenience of your home. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver English lessons and guidance to students. • Create a fun and engaging classroom environment by facilitating one-on-one or group instruction & utilizing world-class teaching methods. • Lead discussions, assess student performance, and provide constructive feedback. Specific qualifications required for this role: • TESL/TEFL Certificate over 100 hours • TESL/TEFL Certificate • TESL/TEFL Diploma Level Additional requirements for this role: Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have: • Bachelor's Degree or higher (Any field) • Completed, accredited 120-hour or above TEFL, TESOL, CELTA • 6 Months of teaching or tutoring experience • English first language speakers from USA/Canada/UK/Ireland/Australia/New Zealand • Must be based in Central America, South America or Southeast Asia (Mexico/Brazil/Cambodia/Thailand/Vietnam/Bali etc.) • Computer literate • Clear criminal record • Engaging and inspiring communication skills • Punctual and precise timekeeping • Available to fit into allocated teaching shift slots • You are aligned with The Really Great Teacher Company's values and a culture fit Tech Requirements PC specifications: Processor: Intel ® Core™ i5 CPU @2.0GHz (8 CPUs) or greater. Memory: 8GB RAM or greater. Backup power: Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life of up to 4-5 hours (2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching). This is applicable and a non-negotiable requirement for candidates based in a country where regular power interruptions occur. A stable fibre internet connection: At a minimum of 20 Mbps upload and download speeds. PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection.
