About the position The Workforce Management Team at Walmart is dedicated to providing data analytics and support to the Health & Wellness (H&W) field. This team focuses on labor planning and forecasting, reporting and dashboards, and compliance for pharmacists and support staffing. The Scheduling Specialist plays a crucial role as a customer-facing partner to the field, which is essential for building the brand and trust within the organization. In this fast-paced environment, the primary responsibility of the Scheduling Specialist is to develop schedules for pharmacists based on demand, ensuring that these schedules are meticulously edited and maintained for integrity. Additionally, the role involves managing paid time off (PTO) and ensuring compliance with company policies, which are integral to the position. The Scheduling Specialist must possess strong data entry skills and a thorough understanding of organizational protocols to contribute effectively to the scheduling system's efficiency. Responsibilities • Develop schedules for pharmacists according to demand. , • Edit schedules as needed to maintain integrity. , • Manage PTO and ensure compliance with company policies. , • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently. , • Communicate effectively with market directors and leadership. Requirements • One to two years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment. , • Experience in Pharmacy, HR, receptionist, medical scheduling, dispatcher, or logistics background. , • Ability to work Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM PST or MST. , • Good oral and written communication skills. , • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. , • Ability to multi-task effectively. Nice-to-haves • Pharmacy background and experience in scheduling. , • Good computer skills.
